Birdsong House is the old traditional farmhouse with some LOW BEAMS. The front entrance of the house leads straight into the fully equipped kitchen with gas oven and 4 burner gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, iron/ironing board etc. From the kitchen there is a STEP down into the lounge/dining area with a drinks fridge, flat screen DSTV, book library, cosy open fireplace and a door opening onto the lower patio. Heaters and fans provided. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor. The Master Bedroom has a queen sized bed and a sleeper couch, safety deposit box, hairdryer and an en-suite with large walk-in shower and toilet. There is a small STEP up to bedroom 2 with another queen sized bed, next to bedroom 3 with a single bed both adjacent to and using a second shower room with toilet. A short steep staircase leads upstairs from the lounge to bedrooms 4 and 5 both with two single beds each and sharing a third shower room with toilet in between.

Outside is a large furnished ‘L’ shaped split level patio entertainment area where the Black Headed Oriole is a regular visitor. The brick paved terrace overlooks the valley and forest extending to the large undercover sitting/dining area with its own built-in braai (barbecue) facility outside the kitchen/front entrance. The patio has been fenced to make it Pet Friendly and provide a secure area for young children.
